Comprehensive research service
provided by Peter Nash
Past Executive Officer of the New Zealand Society of Genealogists Inc.
Genealogy is the study of family links and the researching of family trees and history. Using genealogical methods and historical records I am able to obtain information about a family kinship and history of its members. The results can be displayed in charts of family trees or written as narratives.
Some researchers differentiate between genealogy and family history, limiting genealogy to an account of kinship, while using family history to denote the provision of additional details about lives and their historical context.
I can find out as much as possible about your family genealogy, research your ancestors and their families, identify and locate living cousins, long lost relatives and distinguish ancestors and relatives from other people having the same or similar names.
I aim to assist people with tracing their family history and genealogical origins. I research by actively using my genealogical research skills, years of experience and studies, and using the many genealogical libraries, archives and other repositories.
