Genealogy research and family history research vary greatly in the time needed for research, cost of doing the research and producing the documents, and the possibilities of a satisfactory outcome. When you contact us, we will arrange a time and venue for the preliminary discussions where we will:
- Sort out exactly what you want
- Give a timetable
- Gather all information that you possess
- Answer any queries you may have
- Give a written document outlining agreed target information, target dates and agreed costs.
Up to the first 30 minutes of the first interview is at no charge.
Research costs are: by negotiation + any other agreed costs

People who have no desire to or experience in researching and have a desire to immediately get back in their family tree as far as possible and as quickly as possible.
Here there are a number of options:
Simple Package: $250 inclusive of GST
This will include:
One surname only
- At least 1 to 3 generations
- Up to 3.5 hours’ research and analysis
- 30 minutes initial interview to establish client’s expectation
- A full written report of findings together with a written family tree
and pedigree in printed diagram form
- A copy of any certificates and documents obtained which will be an extra charge and agreed to beforehand
- Suggestions for further research |
Medium Package: $500 inclusive of GST
This will include everything in the simple package plus:
- Two surnames only
- Up to seven hours’ research and analysis
Complete Family Package: $1000 inclusive of GST
This will include everything in the Simple package plus:
- Whole pedigree ie four surnames
- Up to 15 hours’ research and analysis
