This is difficult to estimate the length of time needed to complete the agreed task and the success rate. Therefore the preferred method of pricing would be an agreed hourly rate

        Education

For a few in an informal setting
In the situation where the course is for one or two people only at their residence the course shall have a minimum duration of 2 hours and the price shall be a minimum of $130 per session and for sessions over 2 hours an extra $65.00 per each hour or part thereof over the minimum time.

The client shall receive notes an examples for their future reference and the atmosphere shall be relaxed.

The course content shall be decided upon at the time of first contact and there will be flexibility in content and subject matter so that the client gets optimum learning.

Price $130 (inclusive of GST) for a two hour session and $65.00 (inclusive of GST) per hour over that minimum period.

For classroom style
In a situation where the course is for more than one or two people the classes shall be held in a school room type setting and manner. The client will arrange the venue and provision of equipment required eg data projector

The subject is to be by agreement and course material shall be supplied to all attendees.

The classes shall consist of two hour sessions. The classes should have a minimum number of 10 attendees but this will not be strictly adhered to.
 
Price $200 (inclusive of GST) per two hour session plus cost of transport at 50 cents per kilometer

       Public Speaking

I can provide a speaker at your meetings on subjects of a historical or genealogical nature. I can give a humorous speech on “What Genealogy is and how to do it” as a general introductory topic or another more specialised topic that is required.

Price $100 plus travel costs for a maximum time period of about one hour.
